Dr Bong Jan Jin

Dr. Bong Jan Jin is a highly skilled Consultant General, Hepatobiliary, and Pancreatic Surgeon at Sunway Medical Centre in Malaysia. He specializes in pancreatic and robotic surgery. He received his medical degree (MB ChB) and Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from the University of Leeds, UK. Dr. Bong completed his specialist training in general and hepato-biliary-pancreatic surgery in the prestigious Northwest Thames Higher Surgical Training Program (London Deanery) and is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council, UK. He has extensive experience, having worked in the UK for 20 years, including senior clinical fellowships at London's Hammersmith Hospital, before returning to Malaysia. Besides, he had visiting fellowships in liver transplantation (Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong, 2010) and laparoscopic hepatectomy program, (Seoul National University Hospital, 2012). He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and holds several professional memberships, including the International Hepato-biliary-pancreatic Association (IHPBA). He is also an accomplished researcher, and editorial board member with interests in hepatocellular carcinoma and minimally invasive surgery.
